Applications for next programme invited by 7 December.

Applications are invited for the second intake of the Staff Training Programme in Student Support.

The aims of the programme are to equip staff with the professional skills needed to work in supporting roles with students. It consists of six full-day workshops over a three month period and involves the development of a reflective diary.

The programme is aimed at any member of staff who undertakes a role in the pastoral support of students. It is aimed primarily at staff in schools working in the area of taught programmes. It may also be useful for those who support research students in a non-academic capacity and those working in central student services.

The deadline for applications is Friday 7 December 2007. The programme begins on 15 January 2008.
