Time for reflection
Remembrance Day provides an opportunity to reflect and remember members of the armed forces who died in line of duty, and to show support to serving and former members of the Armed Forces community and their families.
Remembrance Sunday in Manchester
Sunday, 10 November
City centre: Manchester Cenotaph, St Peter’s Square, M2 4EG,
Time: 10:25am - 12pm
The annual service of remembrance will take at the Cenotaph, St Peter’s Square. Veterans, military personnel, cadets will march from John Dalton Street to the Cenotaph, where a service will be held at 11am.
Following the Service, the Parade will cross St Peter's Square, down Peter Street and on to Mount Street.
A two-minute silence will be observed, commencing at 11am. The start and finish of the two-minute silence will be marked by the firing of a maroon.
