Information about issues accessing University services on Wednesday 23 October
Update 6 (3.45pm, Wednesday 23 October)
Colleagues have identified faulty equipment which has been causing the recent performance issues and have taken action to fix this. We now believe that all services are working as expected. Anyone experiencing any IT issues should contact the IT Support Centre.
Update 5 (2.55pm, Wednesday 23 October)
IT Services' teams are continuing to investigate the performance issues affecting some University services. As with our earlier message, anyone who is unable to access a system should contact the IT Support Centre.
Update 4 (12 noon, Wednesday 23 October)
IT Services are continuing to investigate issues with performance of University services. Some systems, for example, Campus Solutions, may be running slower than expected, however anyone who is unable to access a system should report this to the IT Support Centre.
Update 3 (10:20am, Wednesday 23 October)
While systems including Blackboard and My Manchester have returned to service, we’re continuing to investigate issues with network performance which may be affecting other systems.
Update 2 (9:45am, Wednesday 23 October)
My Manchester for Staff has returned to service.
Investigations are ongoing. Other affected services experiencing issues include Campus Solutions and Kinetics.
Update 1 (9:20am, Wednesday 23 October)
Performance on some services such as Blackboard and My Manchester for students is improving, however we are continuing to investigate the issue.

IT Services are investigating reports of access issues to services including My Manchester, Blackboard and MyView.
