Race Equality Charter roadshow - Monday, 11 November
11 Oct 2024
Share your experiences and help to shape our charter mark progress
Join Professor Dawn Edge (Academic Lead for Race, Religion and Belief), Professor Colette Fagan (Vice-President for Research and Executive Sponsor for the BAME Staff Network) and colleagues from the EDI Directorate to find out more about our Race Equality Charter (REC) and progress against the commitments around staff progression and experience.
In November 2023, we were awarded a Silver Race Equality Charter award based on our submission and achievement plan which outline our commitments to staff and students to being an anti-discriminatory, anti-racist organisation. As part of this work, we’d like to invite staff to attend a REC roadshow where there will be an opportunity to:
- Share your experiences and shape this work as it progresses
- Network with colleagues
- Learn about what we’re aiming for through REC
- Understand what the latest data is showing
