Join our Appeals, Complaints, Conduct, and Discipline (ACCD) Network
26 Sep 2024
Are you involved in student casework or related support? Our University has an active network for all colleagues (PS or academic) involved in academic appeals and complaints, and academic or non-academic conduct and discipline issues.
You may also find the network valuable if you advise or support students or are involved in processes like mitigating circumstances.
The network is jointly hosted by the Teaching and Learning Delivery team within the Directorate for Student Experience, and the Advice and Response and Conduct and Discipline teams within Campus Life.
When you join the network you will:
- Be added to the dedicated Teams space where you can interact with other colleagues to share good practice and seek advice and guidance.
- Be given access to our SharePoint hub where you can find updates, training materials, toolkits, and more.
- Be invited to attend online open meetings throughout the academic year. (Our next open meeting is on Tuesday 8 October and will be hosted by the Advice and Response team who will talk about trauma-informed practice in student casework.)
- Be invited to an annual on-campus conference in July with presentations and workshops.
- Be invited to contribute to consultations on changes to relevant Regulation or Policy/Procedure.
In order to be added to the network, please visit our ACCD network page.
