Changes to the Purchasing Card request process

There have been some changes to the Purchasing Card process that requesters need to be aware about.
- Approval. All purchases now require email approval rather than signatures. This is to comply with a recommendation from our internal auditors. When forwarding the request form to the cardholder, please also attach any email approval from the budget holder and from the authorised signatory (if one of the same, then one email will suffice).
- The form has been updated to reflect the above request and is now available in word or pdf format. Expenditure Request Form (PDF) Expenditure Request Form (Word)
Please now use the revised form and process.
The cardholder will be permitted to reject requests on old forms from 1 October, 2024.
