IT maintenance and downtime: Tues 10 and Thurs 12 September

IT Services need to perform critical planned maintenance in readiness for Start of Year.
University-wide network disruption
On Tuesday 10 September, maintenance in our data centres will result in disruption to network connectivity between 6pm and 10pm.
It’s expected that there will be two connectivity disruptions of up to 15 minutes, one at approximately 8pm and one at approximately 9.30pm.
During the disruptions, access to University services will be affected. This includes (but is not limited to) Wi-Fi and the wired network, IT login, GlobalProtect VPN, Duo, some University websites, My Manchester and more.
IT colleagues will be monitoring services throughout and after the work to ensure everything returns to service as expected.

Campus Solutions Student System downtime
On Thursday 12 September, IT Services need to perform critical maintenance which will affect access to the Campus Solutions Student System for all users between 7am and 10am. During this maintenance, Campus Solutions will be unavailable and users will be shown a planned maintenance message.
All efforts will be made to complete the work as quickly as possible.
Note: This work will not affect the version of Campus Solutions in the Alliance Manchester Business School used by Global MBA students.
