Planned IT maintenance on Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 August

Over the weekend of 3 and 4 August, IT Services are performing maintenance on network storage and Wi-Fi.

  • Network storage will be disrupted on Saturday 3 August. This maintenance work will affect P: drives (personal network storage) and some (but not all) shared drives from 9am to 1pm, however please allow until the end of the day for the work to fully complete.
  • There will be brief interruptions to Wi-Fi connectivity across campus on Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 August. The work will take place between 9am and 6pm on both days, and during this time, there will be up to 15 minutes’ instability while the work takes place. Different locations will be affected at different times, however due to the nature of the work, it’s not possible to state at exactly which time each area will be affected. Wired connectivity is not affected by this work.

Once work has been completed, services will return as normal. If you are still experiencing issues after this, please contact the IT Support Centre.
