Data and Research Month

July marks Data and Research Month from our EDI Diversity calendar. With inclusivity at the heart of our EDI Strategy, data collection and research are a crucial step to working towards our goals.

By collecting personal data from staff and students, we can use it to identify hidden gaps and disparities which can easily be overlooked. It also aids in analysing and understanding patterns, such as the successes of our various inclusion projects, helping us to plan our next steps on how we can further improve and what we need to research further to identify root causes.

With your data, we can visualise with precision what areas of diversity and equality should be given more support and attention and the scale required. In this way, we’re committed to creating an environment where everyone is included, valued, and celebrated by deep diving thoroughly into these areas of improvement through the accuracy gained from data analysis.

Lunch and Learn Sessions
