Let's talk: Our disabled staff network

26 Jun 2024

In conversation initiative to encourage open and honest discussion across equality, diversity and inclusion

Let's talk - open discussion on equality, diversity and inclusion

We are proud to share a new episode of our in-conversation initiative hosted by the Directorate of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI).

Let's talk: Our disabled staff network

Jackie Carter, Professor in Statistical Literacy and Academic Lead for Disability leads this conversation between our President and Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dame Nancy Rothwell and Dr Hamied Haroon, Research Fellow in the Faculty of Biology, Medicine and Health, discussing our disabled staff network and the experiences of disabled staff at the University.

How will I find out about new episodes?

All conversations will be shared on the Directorate of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion StaffNet pages and will be promoted on StaffNet. More conversations are planned for throughout the year. You can also find episodes on all major podcast platforms.

Get involved

‘Let’s talk’ encourages members of our diverse University community to have an open and honest discussion about topics right across EDI.

If you would like to be involved with this project please contact Steph Danson via equalityanddiversity@manchester.ac.uk
