Research Lifecycle Programme recruiting academic theme leaders

Three new leaders will help shape RLP’s themes and ensure they are meeting the needs of the academic and wider research community – see how to apply.
The Research Lifecycle Programme are recruiting three academic theme leaders to support the programme during its next delivery phase.
The successful applicants will help to shape one of RLP’s themes and ensure that it is meeting the needs of the academic and wider research community. The first theme leads will be supporting:
- Open, reproducible and responsible research
- Research computing and data platforms
- The research funding lifecycle
Academic theme leaders will help to ensure that the work of RLP, and their specific theme, is fully aligned with the University’s academic policies. In addition, they will:
- Work with colleagues to develop, and advocate for, the academic vision/theme plan.
- Seek assurance that the theme initiatives are doing the right things in alignment with the University’s strategies.
- Provide an academic voice(s) at the RLP Programme Board, and other appropriate forums, as well as shaping the delivery of the programme.
- Provide an interface with senior academic stakeholders, keeping them engaged and informed.
To help ensure that successful candidates can fully support the programme, the roles will be bought out at 0.1 FTE.
