Can going ‘wild’ help us to tackle the climate and biodiversity crisis?

Meet some of the UK’s foremost thinkers, writers, activists, and influencers to find out how people across the globe are rethinking their relationship with the natural world.

‘Wild Talks’ is a series of public talks hosted by the Manchester Museum and funded by the Flexible Learning Programme as part of the University’s support for lifelong, flexible learning, aimed at supporting our communities' aspirations and learning needs at every stage of their lives. Through public talks, we aim to support all learners to access a Manchester University education throughout their lifetime.

Much more than any other native species, the ghosts of the wolves we slaughtered in the darkest times of our past still haunt the landscapes of Britain.

• Saturday 15 June 2024 - Communities and landscapes - a conversation with Mike Murawski and Esme Ward

This conversation will explore the transformative role of the museums as agents of social change and as platforms for addressing environmental challenges.
