Pure availability – update

Our support portal for researchers will be unavailable from 7am on Thursday, 2 May until 8am on Tuesday, 7 May. Your profile on Research Explorer will remain available.

Pure will be unavailable from 7am on Thursday, 2 May until 8am on Tuesday, 7 May.

This means you will be unable to log into Pure between these dates to complete tasks such as updating your university profile and adding publications.  

Your academic profile and other content on Research Explorer will remain available.

From Tuesday, 7 May, Pure will be brought into line with other University systems and services which require 2-factor authentication to log in, using Duo.

Please note, however, that if you have already authenticated with Microsoft 365 earlier in the day, to access any of the applications in the Microsoft 365 suite, then you will not be required to authenticate when accessing Pure, as authentication is only required once a day for these services.
