Judges needed for the Postgraduate Research Showcase 2024

Academics and PS colleagues can support postgraduate students to develop their presentation skills – or simply watch the showcase on Wednesday, 12 June
The Researcher Development team is looking for members of staff to help support postgraduate students (PGRs) in the development of their presentation skills by judging their presentations in the Postgraduate Research Showcase.
The showcase, to be held on Wednesday, 12 June, is a celebration of postgraduate research from across the University.
Hosted by Research Degrees and Researcher Development and Manchester Doctoral College, it brings together researchers from all three faculties to create a unique environment in which to foster interdisciplinary networking and the communication and sharing of ideas.
Each PGR will have prepared a 90-second elevator pitch presentation that will be viewed by two judges: one will be academic and the other a member of PS staff.
The judging session will be take place between 10.30am and 12pm in Whitworth Hall.
