Lunar New year

09 Feb 2024

Celebrating the year of the dragon

Lunar New Year

Wishing all our staff and students a very happy Lunar New Year.

May the Year of the dragon bring you peace, prosperity, and good health.

The Lunar New Year is marked across countries and regions such as China, Taiwan, Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, Myanmar, Cambodia and Macau to name a few. It signifies the first day of the first lunar month.

It is a time for families and friends to meet and celebrate the forthcoming Spring. It is marked by an animal from the zodiac and an element, this year is the year of the dragon and wood.

Celebrations are joyful, loud and colourful and gifts are also given.
