Health Inequalities: Employment and Productivity Networking Event on Tuesday, 20 February
The Health Inequalities Initiative is bringing together academics, policy makers, campaign groups and businesses to act upon the causes and consequences of health inequalities around the world. The Initiative will focus on themes including, but not limited to, poverty and deprivation, the environment, employment and productivity, children and young people, ageing, ethnicity and racism, and health and social care resourcing, access and delivery.
Our upcoming internal networking event on Tuesday, 20 February at 2 to 5pm will focus on our Employment, Productivity and Work theme, led by Prof Martie van Tongeren and Prof Sheena Johnson, and we invite you to join us to find out more about the Health Inequalities Initiative, research happening across the University in this space, and identify collaboration opportunities relating to policy, funding and stakeholder engagement. The event will be held at the Emmeline Suite in the Christabel Pankhurst Building and will be made up of flash talks and networking sessions, with tea and coffee and light refreshments provided.
