AMBS talk: AI against forced and child labour, with Professor Ser-Huang Poon

The event is open to all colleagues and students. The purpose of this series is to share A&F research with a broader interest, to encourage multi-disciplinary collaboration.
The talk will take place on campus at AMBS, Pod A 3:30-4:30pm, then we will move to BrewDog for 'Thirst Thursdays' where attendees and the speaker can discuss the topic in an informal setting.
The first talk titled, AI Against Forced and Child Labour by Professor Ser-Huang Poon will explore the connection between Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLM), and a specific use case in Supply Chain Due Diligence. It will provide a brief overview of LLM and Generative AI, focusing on the Prompt Engineering technique. This technique is being used as the underlying technology for an Impact Study on the use of a WorkersBot to help resolve issues in global supply chains, which is an important part of Supply Chain Due Diligence.
