You could win up to £15,000 of start-up funding for your business idea
The Masood Entrepreneurship Centre (MEC) is pleased to announce that applications for the Venture Further Awards Competition are open.
We have a £100,000 prize pot, where business ideas could win up to £15,000 in one of our five categories:
- Environment
- Healthcare
- Services
- Social
- Technology
This competition is open to all current students and graduates (within 3 years) from our University, and teams must have at least 50% University of Manchester representation.
Aren’t sure whether your idea is developed enough? Can’t decide which category your business fits into? Need help with elements of your application? We have a few useful sessions to help you:
- 30 min 1-to-1 appointment with the MEC team (sign up).
- Drop in sessions every Wednesday 2-4pm at The Enterprise Zone, AMBS.
- Two start-up bootcamps on 3 and 5 February, AMBS (9am-7pm).
- VFA support drop in on Thursday, 1 February AMBS Reception Area (10am-4pm).
