Sangrand Magh 2024
12 Jan 2024
Wishing our Sikh colleagues a wonderful Sangrand Magh
We would like to wish our Sikh colleagues a wonderful Sangrand Magh this January. May this celebration bring you and your family happiness and good health.
Sangrand Magh, marks the beginning of the month of Magh in the Nanakshahi calendar in the Sikh tradition and is observed this year on Saturday, 13 January. It is a time for gratitude, reflection, and renewed commitment to the core tenets of Sikhism, promoting values of compassion, equality, and selfless service.
On Sangrand Magh, Sikhs gather in gurdwaras for special prayers and kirtan (devotional singing), reflecting on the teachings of Guru Nanak and seeking spiritual growth. Sangrand Magh encapsulates the essence of Sikh spirituality, offering a moment for devotees to deepen their connection with the divine and strengthen their bonds with the Sikh community.
