Research staff possess a diverse and wide range of essential and skills and experience, representing a huge talent pool that benefits UK and global research institutions, the economy, and society. The skills that research staff possess can unlock a limitless range of career paths. But it doesn’t always feel that way and success and options for researchers can feel narrowly defined.
Our Research Staff Conference, organised by the Researcher Development team at our University, will explore a range of career paths beyond the postdoc and examine how research staff can take practical steps to unlock their career potential and develop areas of leadership, collaborations, decision making, and grant writing.
The conference will be held on Monday, 29 January at the Core Technology Facility.
Registration closes at midday on Friday, 12 January.
The conference, which is free to attend with lunch and refreshments provided, is open to all research staff at The University of Manchester, University of Salford and Manchester Metropolitan University.
Please note that this conference is not open to postgraduate research students, it is open to research staff only (postdoctoral research associates and research fellows).
