'Students as Partners' describes opportunities for students to take an active role in supporting our University improve the student experience
There are different levels of partnership and at the highest level, students and staff co-deliver projects as equals.
The Student Partnership Team
The Student Partnership Team sits within Success and Development, a part of the wider Access, Student Employability, Success and Development team within the Directorate for the Student Experience (DSE). The team liaises with colleagues across the University to create opportunities for students to work in partnership with staff and provide support and resources for staff looking to run projects. This work includes a Students as Partners Network for staff and collaboration with other departments and the Students' Union to ensure there is a consistent approach to partnership working at the University of Manchester.
How can I get involved?
If you have a project with funding for student involvement and would like students to collaborate, the Student Partnership team can help you to recruit students for your project. The team will coordinate the recruitment, training, and provide ongoing support for students involved in partnership working.
The team also have a pool of trained Student Partners that University staff can recruit on a one-off basis to deliver focus group and consultation activities.
