Wood Street Mission Christmas Appeal: could you make a donation?
17 Nov 2023
Help give children from low-income families a happy and memorable Christmas by donating a gift
The Wood Street Mission Christmas Appeal has launched, and the charity are looking for donations of new toys, gifts and books suitable for children aged 0-14 years old. Chocolates, selection boxes and wrapping paper are also much appreciated!
As in previous years, our University is organising a donation point where you can drop off any of the above items. You can visit the Pensions Office, G.029 in the John Owens Building on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10am until 3pm. Please only bring donations during these times.
Wood Street Mission will be accepting donations until Friday, 8 December 2023, to enable them to get presents to as many families as possible.

About the Wood Street Mission Christmas Appeal
Wood Street Mission helps support families living on a low income in Manchester and Salford, with practical help and services. Christmas is an expensive time of year for all families but for the families that Wood Street Mission support, it can be a time of worry and stress to not be able to provide presents for their children to open on Christmas Day.
The Wood Street Mission thanks you for your support and sends best wishes for the festive season and New Year.
