'Perspectives, Partnerships and Practice' FBMH Service Learning Conference

The Faculty of Biology, Medicine and Health (FBMH) would like to warmly invite you to attend the second Service Learning Conference.

 This year’s 'Perspectives, Partnerships and Practice' event will explore the following themes:

•  bringing service learning into the curriculum
• making the case for service learning in your organisation and 
• understanding the needs of your community.  

It will be hosted by Dr Rachel Lindley and Prof Raj Ariyaratnam, FBMH Co- Academic Leads for service learning. 

This conference is an opportunity for those involved in biological and healthcare education to understand the potential for service learning to become an integral part of their programme, and the methods by which to make it a success. It is also an opportunity to learn from experts in the field, and to network with key partners.  

Speakers on the day include: Dr Cordelle Ofori is Deputy Director of Public Health at Manchester City Council.
