Fast forward your career with our innovative accelerator programme

11 Oct 2023

We are delighted to be partnering with the Women’s Higher Education Network (WHEN) to deliver an innovative and exciting Career Accelerator programme

WHEN

All staff at a Grade 5 level or above are invited to apply.

This comprehensive programme will support you to create clarity and focus on career direction, aiming to increase your fulfilment through reflection, leading to deliberate action. The course has been designed specifically for women* working in higher education through insights and expertise from sector-leading practitioners and industry experts alongside an executive coaching team.

Dates you will need to be available

The two-day workshop takes place on Tuesday, 21 November and Wednesday, 22 November.

You will also be part of a supportive Action Learning Set, facilitated by a career coach, on Monday, 11, and Tuesday, 12 December 2023 (attendance in-person on campus). The final Action Learning Set will be on Monday, 9 January, and Tuesday, 10 January 2024 (online) to support you with future action plans.

You will also have access to a learning portal, providing you with exercises and resources to get most of the programme.

“WHEN puts you and your career at the centre of your thinking, not only in a theoretical sense but in providing you with time to put practical steps in place. It is a building block to make changes and is a wonderfully inspiring way to think about you and your working life with other brilliant women. It is amazing." (Karen McNally, London Metropolitan University).

How to apply:

  • If you are interested in applying, please complete the application form by the end of Friday, 20 October.
  • On applying, please ensure you are available for the programme dates.
