Undergraduate Open Days - 30 September and 14 October
28 Sep 2023
Potential students will visit Manchester as they consider their university choices for 2024
Our University will be hosting the final Undergraduate Open days of the year on Saturday, 30 September and 14 October. These are the largest events in our recruitment calendar and remain in very high demand, with each attracting in excess of 20,000 registrations.
Open Days provide potential students with the opportunity to meet with staff and current students, discover our vibrant campus and explore first-hand everything our University and city has to offer.
Each day will feature hundreds of subject presentations and general information sessions on a variety of topics, from accommodation to study abroad. We host a large Student Experience Exhibition in the Whitworth Hall and deliver student-led tours of campus, the Student Union, Library and Learning Commons.
- Our event programme is available through the ‘Visit UoM’ app, downloadable from the App Store or Google Play
These events draw on contributions from PS and Academic staff, catering teams, estates and house services, DSE teams, carparking, security and the Students' Union. The Directorate of Communications, Marketing and Student Recruitment would like to extend their thanks to the many staff from across our University who come together to ensure that visitors get a great first impression.
For anyone driving to campus on Saturday for the Open Day on Saturday, 30 September, the barriers at Dover Street car park (postcode M13 9GB) will be raised and it will be free to park there.
