Experian offer extended for University staff and PGR students

As part of our support to colleagues, in response to the cyber incident, the University is extending the deadline for colleagues and postgraduate research students to apply for a free, 12-month subscription to a leading identity protection service, Experian.

‘Experian Identity Plus’ will help you monitor your personal information for certain signs of potential identity theft and detect possible misuse of your personal data.

The original Experian offer application was due to expire at the end of September, but any member of staff or postgraduate research student who were with the University at the time of the incident, will now be able to apply for the Experian offer until 29 November, and the protection lasts 12 months from whenever you apply for it.

We recognise that for a number of teams, the current cyber incident is adding additional demands to their normal workload. We are keen to support and maintain wellbeing across affected teams.

We would encourage individuals to speak to their line manager with any wellbeing concerns in the first instance. Further information on wellbeing support is available on the StaffNet wellbeing pages.
