Additional IT support for students at start of year

IT Services are providing additional in-person IT support during welcome week.

In addition to the usual in-person support provision, there will be a pop-up IT support stand in the drum on the ground floor of University Place, from Monday 18 to Friday 22 September.

Also, there will be additional staff in the ground floor foyer of the Kilburn Building, to help with enquiries relating to eduroam Wi-Fi and Duo 2-factor authentication. This will run from Monday 18 to Friday 22 September, and Monday 25 to Friday 29 September.

We provide a range of information to help our new students get set up with their IT. This includes instruction leaflets made available at the welcome fair on 18 and 19 September, student hubs and in-person IT Support Desks. These leaflets contain information about Wi-Fi, email, printing, Hornet and cyber safety – and electronic copies are available on the IT Services website.
