Our latest Manchester Magazine edition now available

Our summer 2023 edition has now arrived and it celebrates the students, staff and alumni embodying our University's values as they make their mark on the world

The edition, out this week, includes an interview with our new Chancellor Nazir Afzal OBE where he lays out his vision for the next six years in post.

You’ll also find features on our promising student entrepreneurs pushing the boundaries of social change, the new Manchester Museum and how it fosters collaboration and cultural understanding, and discover University research that’s transforming Parkinson’s disease prognosis.

We highlight our alumni community and how their volunteering efforts impact local communities across the world and how one alumni in particular is inspiring change for women in engineering, while another became four-time World Ironman Champion.
