Closure of St Peter's House charity

20 Jul 2023

The St Peter’s House Board of Trustees has issued a statement confirming the closure

In a statement on their website, the St Peter’s House Board of Trustees has announced, with great sadness, that the charity’s operations are to be wound up over the coming months.

This means that the Milk and Honey café, owned and operated by St Peter’s House, will also be closing.

Furthermore, The Well, which provides help with food and wellbeing will also be ceasing operations. There is further information online on measures that the University and Students’ Union have put in place to help with cost of living pressures and options are being explored for an alternative offer once The Well closes.

The University and the Students' Union are developing a new approach to multi-faith work to ensure we reflect the communities we serve.

We will continue the legacy of St Peter's House and ensure that any new plans are co-created with students and staff.

In the meantime, alternative spaces for worship are indicated on our campus map.
