Call for applications: 'Italy Made Me' awards: early career researchers
18 Jul 2023
Our University has a vibrant community of researchers of Italian nationality who completed their studies in Italy and then moved to the UK
The Italian Embassy in London is inviting early-career Italian researchers (<3 years from PhD) across the UK to submit applications for its annual research award programme 'Italy Made Me' (2023 Edition).
The awards will be presented to Italian researchers operating in the United Kingdom who received part of their education in Italy, in recognition of innovative research conducted in each of the three European Research Council (ERC) domains - Life Sciences (LS), Physical and Engineering Sciences (PE), Social Sciences and Humanities (SH).
The Italian Embassy in London coordinates this initiative in collaboration with the Association of Italian Scientists in the United Kingdom (AISUK) and with the support of other organisations and institutions in Italy and the UK. The awards will be presented by the Italian Ambassador to the UK, Inigo Lambertini, in Autumn 2023.
It is free to submit an application and the deadline is 31 August 2023.
