My Manchester for students
As part of our response to the cyber incident we are carrying out a controlled shut down of 'My Manchester for students'.
The shut down will take place later in the day on Friday, 7 July. When this happens, My Manchester for students will be unavailable. It’s expected that the service won’t be available again for some time.
‘My Manchester for staff’ will be unaffected, but we might see some disruption to some other services that is likely to be temporary.

Mandatory cyber and data protection training – new deadline
Given the current situation with the cyber incident, it is especially important for colleagues to understand data protection and cyber security.
Data Protection and Cyber Security training was made available in October 2022 for all staff to complete by the end of January 2023. If you have not completed the training in the last 12 months, you must do so by Friday, 14 July.
