Share your passion for sport with your local community
Applications for the Sports Volunteer Scheme in 2007/08 are now open.
The Sports Volunteer Scheme aims to get students and staff at The University of Manchester to undertake voluntary work within the community.
Most volunteers coach; this could be running an after-school club at a local primary school, coaching at a local club or running sports festivals and tournaments.
Joining the scheme will cost you nothing but your time. You will be reimbursed for travel expenses and the scheme will pay for your leadership and coaching qualifications.
