Future Fortnight: Helping finalists get ready for life after university
08 Jun 2023
Running from Monday, 12 – Friday, 23 June, Future Fortnight features a packed programme of careers events and support to help our final year students begin their graduate career
The Careers Service are pleased to announce that our Future Fortnight series of events is back for 2023.
It’s designed for finalists of all degree disciplines graduating in 2023, as well as recent graduates, however all students are welcome to come along and are sure to find sessions of interest.
With sessions such as our Career Planning Masterclass, Getting Interview Ready, Recruiter’s Tips for Job Hunting, and Finding a Job in the UK as an International Student, there’s plenty for students to benefit from. For anyone considering continuing their studies, we also have useful sessions such as Thinking about a Master's? Everything you need to know, and Thinking about a PhD?.
There will be a mixture of online and in person events, so whether students are still in Manchester or have already moved away, they can access the programme of careers support, workshops, panels and drop ins.
Further to these events, the Careers Service is still here to support graduates for up to two years after they have completed their course. This includes help with applications, CV and cover letter support, one-to-one Careers appointments and online workshops.
We hope you will help us spread the word to finalists about the support they can continue to access after graduation, and please do encourage them to register for some of the fantastic options we have for them during Future Fortnight.
