Essential network maintenance on Tuesday 23 May

IT Services need to perform emergency maintenance, which will result in two short outages to the campus network.

These outages will take place between 6.30pm and 7.30pm on Tuesday 23 May, and most services are expected to be restored after 10 seconds each time, although some services may take up to 5 minutes to be fully restored.

We would normally avoid performing disruptive work during the exam season, however the nature of the work means that it needs to be performed as soon as possible.

Colleagues will be closely monitoring services throughout and after the work, to ensure that everything returns as expected.
