Capturing the breadth of our international news to inform and engage our non-student audiences located outside of the UK

Our University has launched an external facing e-newsletter, Global Manchester, designed to inform and engage non-student audiences located outside of the UK. 

The newsletter captures the breadth of our international news including updates on research, partnerships, visits, alumni activity and events.

The first edition featured news about the reopening of Manchester Museum following a £15 million redevelopment; four alumni, including award-winning actress Parineeti Chopra, honoured for their achievements as Indian citizens; high-level Indian delegations visiting us on campus; a call for entries to the Manchester China Institute and Creative Manchester UK-China International Photography Competition; and the announcement of Global Futures Scholarships, which are available to international undergraduate and master’s offer holders.
