IT staff recognised for outstanding achievements and innovation in technology

The UCISA Awards recognise, celebrate and promote the outstanding achievements and innovation of staff working in or supporting technology in UCISA member organisations

Jacinta Blythe, Senior Product Manager, and Chris Moss, Developer, in IT Services have both been recognised in the UCISA Awards which celebrate and promote the outstanding achievements and innovation of staff working in or supporting technology in UCISA member organisations.

Jacinta won the ‘Rising Star’ award which recognises an emerging leader in digital technology, with Chris Moss being Highly Commended in the same category. Both Jacinta and Chris were able to demonstrate ongoing technical and creative expertise as well as growth in responsibility and leadership.

PJ Hemmaway, Director of IT said: “These awards are great news for IT Services and for the University – our colleagues are working hard every day to improve the service and it’s great to see their hard work being recognised externally.”

Sandra Davidson, IT Relationship Manager, was also shortlisted for the Rising Star Award. Malcolm Brown, Andrew Wilde and Traceyanne Sinclair were nominated for a Transformation Award as part of a multi-directorate team nomination.
