University supports charity bike ride
SPORT at The University of Manchester is promoting a great opportunity to keep fit, raise money for charity and take in the breathtaking views of Lancashire.
The British Red Cross is looking for cyclists to join its cycling team to take part in the Lancashire Loop Cycle Challenge on Sunday 30th September 2007.
The cycle route takes in some of the most breathtaking views in Lancashire with a choice of a 45 or 100 miles route. The 100 miles route will ascend 5000 ft during the ride!
Registration costs £10 and the British Red Cross is challenging cyclists to raise £75 or more.
