Want a challenge? Try dam abseiling

Located to the west of Halifax, Baitings Dam is centrally situated between Leeds, Manchester and Sheffield. Taking place over the weekend of 18-19 August, Baitings Dam is a wonderful venue, providing a 60m (195 feet) abseil with spectacular views.

You don't need to have done anything like this before: the trained team running the abseil are amongst the most experienced and will ensure that you are fully trained before you go on the edge. They will also give you the confidence you need to step over the edge and abseil 195 ft in aid of the British Red Cross!

This is a challenging and exciting event for daredevils.

Registration is £10 and the British Red Cross is challenging participants to raise £75 or more.
