Irene Manton Linnean Society Annual Lecture - 8 December 2022
29 Nov 2022
The Linnean Society is welcomed back for the 2022 Irene Manton lecture on 8 December.
This year’s lecture will be delivered by Rebecca Willis, Professor in Energy and Climate Governance at Lancaster University. Rebecca will highlight how the only way to steer humanity through the climate change crises ahead, is to restore and rebuild democracy by finding new ways to involve everyone in a collective effort to safeguard the planet that we all call home.
Now in its eighth year, the Irene Manton Linnean Society Annual Lecture aims to inspire and inform everyone in contemporary biology and botany and the role that women scientists play.
The event is free and open to everyone, with sixth form students particularly welcome.
