New SharePoint site supports move to SharePoint Online

SharePoint Migration Online site contains helpful information as we migrate SharePoint 2010 sites to SharePoint Online

The SharePoint migration project team has created a new SharePoint Migration Online site which contains helpful information to support site owners, managers and users as we migrate SharePoint 2010 sites to SharePoint Online. 

Progress Update  

During October the migration team identified and contacted owners of around 220 SharePoint 2010 sites with a questionnaire to confirm the identities of site owners and managers, and to establish the status of the existing sites. 

As a result of the work to date 81 sites have requested full migration to SharePoint online and 95 have requested deletion.  The team didn’t receive a response for 26 sites. So, the team will be migrating data only for these sites.  

The remaining sites have either been migrated by the owners, or will be deleted or migrated by the owner. 

Sites will be migrated between January and June 2023.
