Manchester Access Programme: applications now open
04 Nov 2022
The programme is open to Year 12 students in Greater Manchester
The Manchester Access Programme (MAP) is our University's central widening participation scheme for local Year 12 students in Greater Manchester.
The Programme aims to help students who meet specific criteria gain a place at our University, or another research-intensive university, through our events, workshops and an academic assignment.
Students can benefit from reduced entry requirements of up to two A-Level grades, support applying to university and the undergraduate access scholarship, currently £1,000 per year. Full details are available on our website and students can find out more by streaming or joining one of our MAP webinars.
Applications are open now
Year 12 students in Greater Manchester can apply for MAP now via our website. Applications will close on Sunday, 11 December at 11.59pm.
Please help us to promote MAP
We believe all students should have the chance to go to university. If you know any Year 12 students, teachers or parents / carers in Greater Manchester who might benefit from MAP please ask them to visit our website or contact us direct at map@manchester.ac.uk if they have any queries.
- We are also happy to provide promotional material and can deliver in-person or online MAP talks on request.
