Dear colleagues

It’s that time of year again when teams across the University start to plan social events to celebrate Christmas and the end of another busy year. 

Whether you celebrate Christmas or not, it’s a great opportunity to get together and connect with colleagues during the festive season. Due to COVID restrictions, many teams will not have had the chance celebrate in-person for over two years now. 

In recognition of this, and for your continued support and hard work, we have permanently increased the budget per member to £20 for University employees to fund festive social events. 

We know from your feedback in staff surveys this year that colleagues have missed regular in-person meetings with colleagues, so we really hope that you have fun and enjoy your team celebrations this year.
