Fiona Devine to step down as Head of Alliance Manchester Business School

Professor Fiona Devine will step down as Head of Alliance Manchester Business School (AMBS) at the end of the academic year 2022/23

Fiona began her role in 2013 and has successfully guided AMBS through many significant milestones, including the move to new premises on Booth Street West in 2019.

Fiona said: “Being Head of AMBS has been a hugely fulfilling experience. I am honoured and proud to have led a business school of such international renown and excellence. Our recent REF success has been hugely important to me and I was thrilled we did so well.

"The quality of our publications and the impact of our work is brilliant. None of this could have been achieved without wonderful senior leadership teams and great people in the School.”

The process for recruiting a new Head of School will be shared in due course.
