Launch of digital edition of the Mary Hamilton Papers

A digital edition of the Mary Hamilton Papers is now available on Manchester Digital Collections

A major AHRC-funded project to digitise, transcribe and analyse the letters, diaries and manuscript volumes of courtier, diarist and Bluestocking Mary Hamilton (1756-1816) has now published a digital scholarly edition on Manchester Digital Collections, uniting material held at the John Rylands Research Institute and Library and archives worldwide for the first time.

Explore the royal, aristocratic, literary and artistic social networks of Georgian England through over 1600 digitised items with enhanced browse and filter functionality and transcriptions displayed alongside ultra-high-quality deep zoom images.
