Nominations open for Northern Power Women Awards

Celebrate colleagues, students, community leaders, and others who are agents for change at prestigious regional awards
Nominations are open for the seventh annual Northern Power Women Awards, which celebrate individuals, teams and organisations for their meaningful contributions to society.
Categories include Person with Purpose, Agent of Change, and One to Watch, as well as new categories Levelling Up Leader and Inclusive Innovation. Nominations can also be made for the Power List and Future List.
Colleagues at the University have had success at these awards previously. Dr Omolade Femi-Ajao featured on the Northern Power Women Future List in 2022 for her research on global health and work with ethnic minority and migrant groups.
- Nominations close on Tuesday, 4 October. Winners will be announced at the NPW Awards on Monday, 20 March at Manchester Central.
