Urgent maintenance on University network at 6pm on Thursday 15 September

IT Services need to perform emergency maintenance on network equipment between 6pm and 8pm on Thursday 15 September.

At some point during this time, there is the chance of a campus-wide network outage of up to 30 minutes. This outage would affect all network connected services, including Wi-Fi and wired network connectivity, IT login, GlobalProtect, My Manchester, Remote access, University websites and more.

We recognise that this work is taking place at short notice during a busy time of year, and that it has a significant impact on our staff and students, however this work needs to take place as soon as possible.
