Amber weather warning issued by Met Office

Extreme heat is expected from Thursday, 11 August until Sunday, 14 August
Temperatures are forecast to be in the low 30s and will be highest across parts of England and Wales with these peaking on Friday and Saturday.
Adverse health effects are likely to be experienced by those vulnerable to extreme heat and the wider population are likely to experience some adverse health effects including sunburn or heat exhaustion (dehydration, nausea, fatigue) and other heat-related illnesses.
Travel may be disrupted (on top of rail strike action this weekend), and so colleagues are advised to take necessary precautions.
If you feel you may need additional support or reasonable adjustments to your work conditions please raise these with your line manager in the first instance.
