See what the University is doing to combat climate change and how you can help
Earlier this year the Directorate of Sport, Trading And Residential Services (STARS) issued news of an exciting new campaign to act on climate change. Partnering up with environmental charity Global Action Plan, STARS started to look at ways in which we can decrease our carbon footprint across The University of Manchester Residential Halls.
Much has been done to publicise the initiatives created since its launch in March and the team are already making headway towards their aim of reducing energy consumption and improving overall environmental performance.
The latest of these initiatives is a video aimed at informing staff and students of the efforts already being undertaken by the University to combat climate change and the steps that they too can take to help.
The video is available at:
If you would like a copy of the video to share at presentations or meetings, please contact:
- Ben Forman, STARS IT office, on 68259 or at ben.forman@manchester.ac.uk
As a result of this years success the programme will run next year also.
