Adobe Creative Cloud subscription renewals due on 6 September
05 Jul 2022
Annual subscriptions for any of the Adobe Creative Cloud family of software products (for example, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Illustrator, Acrobat Pro DC) which were purchased through the IT Services volume licence agreement are all due for renewal on Tuesday 6 September 2022.
During July and August, the software reseller Academia Ltd, which partners with the University to manage our subscriptions, will be contacting licence holders directly by email with renewal reminders, pricing and instructions. When your licence was purchased, if you nominated someone else to receive renewal notices (such as a PA, team leader or administrative contact) they will be contacted instead.
Licence holders and colleagues who coordinate renewals for others in their team, department or school may care to start discussing renewal requirements now. The process for renewing will be very similar to the process for purchasing new licences: a purchase order should be sent directly to the reseller with the name and e-mail address of the licence holder. Information is available on the IT Services Applications Software Website here:
To Note:
- The e-mail will not request credit card details: it will direct you to request that the University raise a purchase order.
- Other volume licence agreements exist, so your renewal date may be different: if you use profile “University of Manchester – Named User – Academia” or see that listed beside your plan when you log onto your account on adobe.com, then your renewal date is 6 September 2022.
- You do not have to send one purchase order per subscription: if you have the opportunity to consolidate many renewals onto one purchase order, we recommend that you do so.
- If you are ordering for more than approximately 50 people, please remember that e-mail addresses should be sent password protected and encrypted according to the University’s standards: please see the IT Services Applications: Adobe Creative Cloud page for further information.
