Rail strike action: guidance for managers
20 Jun 2022
A nationwide rail strike has been called by the RMT union to take place for three days on Tuesday 21, Thursday, 23 and Saturday, 25 June
We recognise that strike action will leave some colleagues with limited options for travelling to work, as well as having an adverse effect on other forms of travel.
In order to help colleagues deal with the impact of the rail strikes, we encourage managers and colleagues to discuss the most appropriate contingencies during this period and we have developed the following guidance to help you in these discussions:
The guidance includes information on what to do if members of your team are unable to travel to work; what happens if someone is late because of the strikes; what happens if childcare arrangements are affected.
